Israel launched strikes on Syrian army positions in Homs province

Israeli aircraft carried out strikes on Syrian positions located in the central provinces of Homs and Hama. The SANA agency reports this with reference to the military department of the Arab Republic.
The incident occurred on Wednesday evening at 22:40 local time (the same as Moscow time). To carry out the attack, Israel used airspace over northern Lebanon.
On September 13, the Syrian Ministry of Defense announced that the Israeli Air Force carried out strikes on the outskirts of the city of Tartus (220 km from Damascus). Two Syrian soldiers were killed and six more were injured when repelling a rocket attack. The strikes were carried out from airspace over the Mediterranean Sea.
