Israel announced the discovery of the body of abducted Hamas student Shani Luk

The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed on its official page on the social network X on October 30 the death of a 23-year-old student from Germany, Shani Luk, who was kidnapped by Hamas militants on October 7.
The body of the student, who was subjected to torture and horror and exposed in the Gaza Strip by Hamas terrorists, has been found and identified, the report said.
Shani Luk’s body was found by members of the Israel Defense Forces. Earlier on Monday, Shani Luk’s mother confirmed her daughter’s death.
The conflict between Israel and Gaza is accompanied by casualties on both sides. According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, since the beginning of the escalation of the conflict, the death toll has exceeded 8 thousand people, including about 3.2 thousand children, and another 20 thousand were injured. On the Israeli side, 5.4 thousand people were injured, and the death toll exceeded 1.4 thousand.
Israel and Gaza continue to attack each other. The conflict escalated on October 7 after a massive rocket attack from Gaza and the infiltration of militants into the border areas of Israel. Hamas claimed responsibility for the rocket fire, and Israel began launching counterattacks in the Gaza Strip.
