The second championship of the Amateur Mini-Football League of Crimea, which took place over four months at the Sports Arena 5:7, has ended. And for the second season in a row, Iskra from Gvardeyskoye became the champion.
This season, the top four teams at the end of the regular season competed for medals. Iskra showed a 100% result, beating all three of its competitors. The second place, as in the last season, was taken by “Formula Driving School”; the newcomer to the tournament, MFK “Simferopol”, rose to third place.
In the Silver League, which included teams from the bottom of the table, the fate of the medals was decided in the match for third place and in the final. The winner of the tournament was Simferopol’s “House of Nature”, beating Zui’s “Alan” in the final match. Third place went to “Victoria” from Simferopol, which failed to defend the title of winner of the first season. In a tense match, “Victoria” put the squeeze on “Author Sushi”.
The award ceremony was attended by the President of the Crimean Football Union, Sergei Borodkin, as well as the USSR Master of Sports, a former player of the Simferopol “Tavriya”, who played in the USSR Major League, Sergei Katalimov.
The third season starts in November. In the meantime, the teams are waiting for the Cup in the off-season.
