Three students studying in Astrakhan were detained in Ingushetia on suspicion of preparing for a terrorist attack and ties with ISIS (an organization recognized as a terrorist organization and banned in Russia), the website reports. KP.RU.
The brothers Malik and Ramazan Gandaloyev and their fellow student Arsen Gammadov disappeared at the end of February, leaving the student dormitory without warning. They left a note with extremist statements. Subsequently, Gammadov contacted his relatives and asked them not to look for him, and the rest not to get in touch.
The students were found with the help of a saleswoman in a village shop, where one of them sometimes went shopping. She recognized him and informed the police. On the same day, the students were detained.
