Israel’s famous Iron Dome anti-missile system was unable to intercept all the rockets that were fired at Tel Aviv and other Israeli cities on Saturday evening.
The Israeli fire service reported that a building collapsed in Tel Aviv as a result of a rocket attack, from which two wounded people were rescued.
Rescue teams are searching the building to make sure there are no people trapped inside. In addition to the incident in Tel Aviv, four rocket hits were reported in central Israel – in Holon, Bat Yam, Givatayim, and the city of Rishon LeZion.
At the moment, it is known that 9 people were injured as a result of the evening strike.
Earlier, the Al-Qassam Brigades (the military wing of the Hamas movement) said they fired 150 rockets in response to an Israeli air strike on a residential high-rise in Gaza.
