Iranian President supports Hamas actions against Israel

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said that Tehran fully and unconditionally supports the actions of the Palestinian Hamas movement in a new round of conflict with Israel.
Raisi’s words are quoted by Fars agency. The Iranian leader called what was happening “a glorious operation of Palestinian fighters in the occupied territories,” as well as “the embodiment of the 70-year-old dream of the Palestinian nation and the entire Islamic Ummah.” With these words, Raisi outlined his position in a conversation with the Secretary General of Islamic Jihad (an organization recognized as terrorist and banned in Russia) Ziyad al-Nahala.
Raisi noted the Palestinians’ “brilliant and impressive victories.” He is confident that all Muslim peoples will soon be able to pray at the Al-Aqsa Mosque (located on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem).
