Iran’s IRGC: 4 military advisers killed in Israeli strike on Damascus
In Iran, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps confirmed the death of four military advisers as a result of an Israeli air attack on Damascus.
The text of the statement says that “the brutal criminal regime of Israel has once again carried out an attack on the capital of Syria.” As a result of an air attack by fighters of the Israeli “aggressor regime,” as specified, several Syrian military personnel and four military advisers of the Islamic Republic of Iran were killed.
Among the dead Iranian military officers, according to the Shargh newspaper, is the deputy head of intelligence of the IRGC special forces al-Quds, General Sadegh Omidzadeh.
According to Syrian media, several Syrian civilians also became victims of the Israeli air attack in the Mezze area.
