Iranian Foreign Minister allowed the opening of other fronts in the conflict between Israel and Palestine

During the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, other fronts may open, stated al-Mayadeen TV channel, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian.

“In light of the continuation of aggression, war crimes and the siege of Gaza, other fronts may open,” he said.

Abdollahian added that Iran strongly supports the Palestinian resistance and will continue to do so politically and in the media. The head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, who is in Lebanon on a working visit, called the blockade of Gaza a war crime.

The aggravation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict began on the morning of October 7, when the Palestinian group Hamas began military operations against Israel. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the launch of Operation Iron Swords, and the government announced that the country had entered a state of war. The total number of victims of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict has exceeded 2,400 people.

Earlier, press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov indicatedthat the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is developing along the path of increasing escalation and there is a risk of involving third forces. He made this statement after the United States sent an aircraft carrier group led by the aircraft carrier Gerald R. Ford to the Eastern Mediterranean due to an attack by Palestinian groups on Israel.

On October 11, the German newspaper Bild, citing experts from the think tank Le Beck wrotethat five fronts could be opened against Israel, as other countries and groups in the Middle East could intervene in the conflict.
