The EU Council has issued a statement on the introduction of the 10th package of sanctions against Russia.
For the first time, seven Iranian companies that produce military unmanned aerial vehicles have been included in this package.
The EU believes that these drones were used by Russia during a special military operation in Ukraine. Recall that Moscow and Tehran have denied such accusations more than once.
The names of the companies have not yet been officially published, this will be done later. But according to media reports, these may be the following enterprises: Oje Parvaz Mado Nafar, Paravar Pars, Qods Aviation Industries and Shahed Aviation Industries.
In addition, the European Union banned not only the supply of dual-use goods to Russia, but also their transit through it. And Russian citizens are forbidden to lead organizations – operators of the community’s critical infrastructure.
The import of synthetic rubber and bitumen from Russia to the EU countries is also prohibited.
