If Israel continues to commit aggression in the Gaza Strip, then no one will be able to keep the situation under control, and Israel will become a “cemetery for soldiers.” This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic, Hossein Amir Abdollahian.

The minister in Qatar met with the leader of the Palestinian group Hamas and the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, reports Al Jazeera. In an interview with the TV channel, Abdollahian said that if Israel decides to enter the Gaza Strip, then “the resistance leaders will turn it [Израиль] in a cemetery for occupation soldiers.” He also said that if the “scale of war” increases, the United States will also face heavy losses.

The Iranian minister’s warnings also distributed Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic.

“If the attacks of the Zionist regime (Israel) on defenseless citizens and residents of Gaza continue, no one will be able to guarantee control of the situation and the non-expansion of conflicts,” the statement said.

Abdollahian earlier admitted the opening of other fronts in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. In media interviews, he spoke of Iran’s strong support for the Palestinian resistance. The head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry called the blockade of Gaza a war crime.

On October 7, the Palestinian group Hamas began military operations against Israel. The militants attacked army border units, entered Israeli populated areas and took an unknown number of military and civilian hostages. The Israel Defense Forces announced the launch of Operation Iron Swords, and the Israeli government announced that the country had entered a state of war.

On October 14, the Israeli military announced its readiness to begin the next stage of the military operation in the Gaza Strip, which includes a ground invasion of the Palestinian enclave. The next day, media reported that the IDF had postponed the ground operation due to weather, as cloud cover could prevent drone operators from supporting the army from the air.

In Israel and the Gaza Strip, more than 3,500 people have been killed since the start of hostilities, including more than 2,300 Palestinians among the victims.
