International Yoga Day will be celebrated in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk

On June 25, the Sakhalin Yoga Festival will be held in the city park of culture and recreation of the regional center. The organizers have prepared a rich program for participants with any level of training, the regional sports ministry said.
The sports festival dedicated to the International Day of Yoga will take place in the park from 10:00 to 20:00. The program includes classes for beginners, breathing practice, yoga for women, SUP yoga, dynamic meditation, nailing, as well as general classes. Lectures, master classes, drawing of gifts are also waiting for Sakhalin residents.
The festival will end with sound healing practices and free dance. All classes are taught by experienced trainers of the island yoga studios.
Participants are required to bring a yoga or fitness mat and wear comfortable sportswear.
