International skydiving competitions will be held in Chechnya

On the territory of the Russian University of Special Forces in Gudermes, international competitions in parachuting and the Final of the Russian Cup in parachuting in memory of the first president of Chechnya, Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov, will be held. ⠀
Sports events will take place from October 1 to October 8. Athletes from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, China and South Africa will take part in them. The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, spoke about this on his telegram channel.
Canopy piloting will be presented in five extreme disciplines that will not leave any skydiving fan indifferent. Athletes will compete for the title of best swoopers in all-around, range, accuracy, speed and freestyle. ⠀
“We hold competitions of this scale regularly. It’s nice that the Russian Parachuting Federation is developing and the Chechen Republic is taking an active part in this. We have created some of the best conditions for professional training of parachutists. At the Goodsky base there is a drop zone, a hotel, an aerodynamic complex, a runway and a diving pool,” said Ramzan Kadyrov.
