International archery competitions ended in Oryol

At the International Archery Competitions held in the Oryol Region, which took place at TMK GRINN, the winners were determined. The competition became part of the “With the Whole Family” project, and spectators came to support the athletes along with their families. The opening ceremony of the final matches was also attended by the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Oleg Matytsin.

According to the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Oryol Region, more than 500 athletes from 10 different countries, including China and Mexico, took part in the competition. The competition was held in two disciplines – classical and compound bow. As a result, the best among men were Sandan Namsaraev from the Trans-Baikal Territory and Vladimir Fazanov from the Pskov Region, while among women, gold medals were won by Erzhena Ochirova from Buryatia and Elizaveta Makhnenko from Moscow.

In the team competition, the Russian and Belarusian teams climbed to the first step of the podium. These young and talented athletes demonstrated a high level of skill.
