Intel launches beta version of video resolution scaling in browsers

American company Intel trains to fully launch its version of video scaling technology for Chromium-based browsers. It can now be manually enabled on some computers by adding the command to Chrome’s launch options.
The final result depends on the power of the GPU. The use of scaling technology also leads to an increase in power consumption. The company has not yet officially announced its intention to launch video resolution scaling for browsers.
Formerly US company Nvidia released the new Game Ready Driver, which now features RTX Video Super Resolution technology. Thanks to it, you can upscale video from 480p to 4K (that is, more than 20 times) in services such as YouTube, Twitch, Netflix and Hulu.
