Telegraph: a mercenary was found dead in Britain after returning from Ukraine
The Telegraph newspaper reported that mercenary Gerry Gregg, who had previously taken part in hostilities on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, was found dead in the UK.
As the relatives of the deceased said, he had no military training and went to Ukraine after listening to a speech by the then British Foreign Minister Liz Truss.
“After Gregg returned home he suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder. We were unable to provide him with all the necessary assistance,” said the mercenary’s mother.
According to the publication, Gregg was supposed to celebrate his birthday last December, but he did not contact his relatives and friends. The next day, Gregg’s body was found in his home.
“The coroner’s report clarifies that he took his own life,” the newspaper noted.
