An inventor from Irbit (Sverdlovsk region) recently received a patent for an invention that allows an inflatable sled, also known as tubing or cheesecake, to follow a straight course without rotating. She developed a guide device that can be used to retrofit cheesecakes.
Her invention is a low-density polyethylene plate with two runners. The body of the structure with runners has a T-shape, and the T crossbar is formed by two rounded ears, and there are three holes in the rounded base of the legs. There may be more runners; in the simplest design, the runners are located on the sides of the leg; in a more complex design, there may be additional runners along the center line. Additional guides allow you to stabilize the direction of movement of the tubing.
To install the guide on the cheesecake, the base of the leg and the crossbar are bent around the sides of the tube and tied through the holes. It turns out something like a skate. With its help, while maintaining all the advantages of the cheesecake, its main drawback is eliminated – the unpredictability of movement.
