Indonesia introduces electronic visas for Russian tourists

Indonesia will soon launch Single Entry Electronic Visa (e-VOA), which can be obtained upon arrival at airports in Bali and Java. This was reported on the website of the Directorate General of Immigration of Indonesia.
To apply for a visa, you need create personal account, upload a scan of the first page of the passport, which is valid for at least another 6 months, your photo and email address. Then you need to fill out a short registration form and within two hours of submitting the application, pay the visa fee, which is 500 Indonesian rupiah (about 32 US dollars). You can pay the fee with Visa, Mastercard and JCB cards.
It is clarified that a visa must be issued for every tourist entering the country, including children and infants.
The e-visa is valid for 30 days, but after that period the visa can be extended for the same period.
Simplified rules for issuing visas to tourists from Russia and 26 other countries will come into force on November 9, 2022.
Now an Indonesian visa is placed in the passport upon arrival in the country. To obtain it, you need to present not only a passport with a validity period of at least six months and proof of payment of the visa fee (35 US dollars), but also a ticket confirming the departure from Indonesia within 30 days, and medical insurance in the amount of at least 25 thousand US dollars.

In early December, you can relax for a week together in Bali or the resorts of the island of Java for about 200 thousand rubles, not counting spending on food and entertainment. Tours with a departure at the end of December are already more expensive by about 100 thousand rubles.
