In Zaporozhye, 93% voted for joining Russia

According to the Crimean Republican Institute for Political and Sociological Research (RIPSI), on the first day of voting in the Donbass, 500 residents of the region were polled.
Of these, 93% reported that they were in favor of Zaporozhye joining Russia. 7% of voters voted for the preservation of the Ukrainian status of the region.
Earlier it was reported that in the DNR turnout for two days of the referendum at the polling stations amounted to 55.5%. During this time, more than 878,000 people and more than 235,000 citizens at foreign polling stations voted on the territory of the DPR.
