In Yelets, children will practice karate for free. This became possible thanks to a presidential grant.

The head of the Yeletsk branch of the Lipetsk region of the All-Style Karate Federation of Russia, Armen Akopyan, was among the winners of the presidential grants competition. His project “A Champion from Our Backyard” received about 500 thousand rubles. This will give an opportunity to even more Elets students to join classes in this sport.

Training will take place in three already operating gyms. New equipment will be purchased with the grant funds, and classes for project participants will be free. Yerevan residents will be able to attend training from February 1st. Students of grades 1-11 of any level of training are invited to karate.
