In Yekaterinburg, the prosecutor’s office checks reports of beating children in kindergarten

Prosecutor’s Office of the Sverdlovsk Region checks information about the infliction of bodily harm to pupils of a kindergarten in Yekaterinburg, the department reports. According to E1.ruthe teacher hit one of the children with a wire from charging.

The portal writes that the incident occurred in one of the kindergartens at Uralmash in the preparatory group, where on June 26 children were transferred from a neighboring kindergarten, which was closed for repairs. The children’s parents learned about the incident on July 8, when one of the mothers showed a photo of her son with a blow mark on his arm.

“In the group there is a certain company of boys that creates hazing, spreading rot on our children in every possible way. From their side every day humiliation, fights. As a result, before sleep-hour there was a fight, my son had to hide from the attackers. The teacher decided to “settle the conflict” by taking the wire from the phone charger and starting to spank ours, ”said the mother of the victim.

The teacher Natalya Shumilova, who hit the boy, said that she had “lost her temper” and apologized to the children. On July 10, five parents signed an application addressed to the head of the school demanding an inspection. In the statement, they also pointed out other cases of ill-treatment that they learned about from children. Yulia Yakovleva, head of the kindergarten, told E1.ru that an official investigation was underway.
