Nikolai Patrushev, Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, paid a working visit to Yaroslavl. The federal official stated two purposes of the visit. First of all, Nikolai Patrushev visited the construction of a volleyball center in Yaroslavl, on Frunze Avenue.
The head of the Security Council is known as a fan of volleyball and appreciates this sport. He met with the president of “Yaroslavich” Sergei Shlyapnikov and representatives of the contractor. Nikolai Patrushev was pleased with the inspection of the construction site. In Yaroslavl, the volleyball center under construction will become a new point for the development of sports. On the basis of the center, volleyball and basketball clubs, a mini-football club, children’s sections, circles, and sports schools will train and hold matches of various levels.
After inspecting the construction site, the head of the Security Council visited Rybinsk. He discussed with the leadership of RSATU the creation of a new campus, an educational and production base and the modernization of the entire complex of buildings of the university. The cost of these works is estimated at 7 billion rubles.
