The Martial Arts Center, which is going to be built in Bragino, can be moved to Krasnoborskaya, in the Zavolzhsky district. This information was released by the Yaroslavl mayor’s office at the request of regional media.
And Krasnoborskaya Street currently houses the Mig sports complex. The building of the complex is in a condition close to emergency. Part of the building wall is destroyed, posing a danger to others.
The Yaroslavl mayor’s office believes that there is no point in restoring and reconstructing the sports complex. So that after the closure of Miga the Volga residents are not left without a sports facility, the old sports complex will be demolished and a modern sports complex will be built in its place. Namely, a center for combat sports. Initially, they were going to build it in the Dzerzhinsky district, next to St. Tikhon’s Church. And thus, complement the sports cluster on Panina Street, where there is already an ice sports complex and a swimming pool.
But the project can also be implemented in the Zavolzhsky region. Currently, design and estimate documentation for the Martial Arts Center is being developed. The sports facility can be built with the support of the Avtodiesel enterprise.
