The head of the Yamal region, Andrey Kugaevsky, went live on VKontakte on May 28. He was asked a question about the fate of the old court in Yar-Sale. It turned out that a new sports facility would be built here – the Northern Character martial arts center.
“There will be both power sports and fitness. A very good design project. We hope that the center will start functioning in the first quarter of 2024 – we need to rebuild and re-equip the old court over the summer. A very interesting sports facility is planned,” Kugaevsky noted.
He added that while the authorities cannot find a fitness trainer for the “Northern Character”, but they hope that the vacancy will be filled by the opening of the center.
