In Yakutia, voter turnout in the Russian presidential elections on March 16, 9:00 Moscow time was 52.27% of the total. The regional central election commission reported this in its Telegram-channel.

Based on the results of March 15, the first day of voting, the turnout was 41.12%. Also in the region, 12 thousand 633 people voted early. In the 2018 presidential elections in Yakutia, 457 thousand 65 people voted. The turnout was 70.99%.
The Russian presidential elections take place from March 15 to 17. This is the first presidential election in Russia that lasts three days and features remote electronic voting. The candidates for the presidency are: Leonid Slutsky (LDPR), Nikolai Kharitonov (Communist Party), Vladimir Putin (self-nominated) and Vladislav Davankov (New People).
