The corresponding decision was made by the Voronezh Railway Court. The incident occurred on Friday, September 9 at the match between the youth team of the Voronezh Fakel and the Moscow Lokomotiv. The match was held as part of the 10th round of the youth championship at the Lokomotiv stadium in Otrozhok. The fan was on the podium in sector D. The Voronezh resident brought to his place, and then set fire to a flare – a pyrotechnic signal fire.

Such manifestations of support for athletes are a gross violation of the rules of conduct for spectators at competitions and endanger the lives of other spectators.

The man was found guilty under Part 3 of Art. 20.31 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (violation of the rules of conduct for spectators during official sports competitions). For his actions, the unfortunate fan will pay a fine of 10 thousand and will be deprived of the right to attend sports competitions for 2 years. The maximum penalty provided for in the article is an administrative arrest for 15 days with the imposition of an administrative arrest on visiting places where official sports competitions are held for up to 7 years.
