In Voronezh, 103 apartment buildings and 16 social facilities in the Leninsky district were left without heating and hot water due to an accident in heating networks, reported press service of the Voronezh branch of the PIK-Comfort group of management companies. According to Gismeteo, the temperature in the city during the day on January 3 will drop to -21 °C.
“The management company of the Leninsky district drains the coolant from the communal heating systems in order to avoid freezing of water in the pipes,” says a statement from the Voronezh branch of PIK-Comfort.
According to the list of facilities published by the press service, hospitals, clinics, antenatal clinics, and several children’s educational institutions were left without heating and hot water. The management company’s message states that water and heating will be supplied until 19:00 local time (which coincides with Moscow time).
