A memorial complex in memory of the soldiers who died during the special military operation (SVO) will be equipped at the Marine Cemetery of the capital of Primorye. This was reported by the press service of the city hall of Vladivostok.
“Granite tiles will be laid at the burial site of the NWO participants, flagpoles with Russian flags will be installed, benches will be placed around the perimeter,” the statement says. press release.
“In order to perpetuate the memory, it was decided to carry out work on the improvement of the burial places of citizens who died during the NWO. We plan to complete the work by October of this year,” said Natalya Rudenko, head of the city’s urban environment department.
In early July, after the incident at the Marine Cemetery, where the graves of servicemen who died in the NVO in Ukraine were desecrated, a criminal case was initiated under Art. 329 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (desecration of the State flag of the Russian Federation). In the orientation disseminated by the police saidthat between 21:00 (14:00 Moscow time) on July 2 and 12:58 (5:58 Moscow time) on July 3, “unidentified persons cut 39 flags of the Russian Federation on the Alley of Heroes – the burial place of those killed in the NVO.”
No arrests of those suspected of committing this crime were reported.
