In Ukraine they will start catching artists dressed as Santa Claus

Punishment – a large fine and sending to the front
In Western Ukraine, animators were banned from looking like Santa Claus. Moreover, all artists were warned: if they find a Santa Claus costume, they will be fined 20,000 hryvnia (48,500 rubles).
From now on, only Saint Nicholas has the right to congratulate Ukrainian children. And so that animators know exactly what a New Year’s hero should look like, reminders are distributed to companies involved in organizing holidays. They give three signs by which you can distinguish Santa Claus from St. Nicholas. Firstly, the clothes of the “Russian Grandfather” – a robe, a hat, boots, a long white beard – are prohibited. Saint Nicholas wears a chasuble and a crown.
Secondly, Santa Claus “walks around with an underage slut”, Snegurochka is prohibited. And “Saint Nicholas walks with an angel.” And thirdly, Santa Claus is a fictional hero, “the personification of cold,” but St. Nicholas is a real person.
At the end of the memo, for anyone who might confuse something, there is a stern warning: “The administration will transmit a signal to the authorities from which you cannot escape.” Just like that. Put on the wrong beard and hat – and welcome to the front. Happy New Year to all Ukrainian animators.
