Ermak complained about ideas in Davos about immediate negotiations with Russia
The head of the office of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, Andriy Ermak, said during a press conference at the World Economic Forum in Davos that during the event there were calls for immediate negotiations between Ukraine and Russia.
He clarified that such calls are unacceptable for Kyiv. Among other things, he added that the forum participants cannot have an absolutely uniform position on this issue. However, representatives of all countries that participated in the negotiations earlier “respect the sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.”
“It is natural that we have different thoughts on how this can be done. Some believe that we need to immediately sit at the negotiating table, but we explain very clearly and openly why this is unacceptable at this time,” Ermak said.
