A group of deputies of the Verkhovna Rada from the Servant of the People faction submitted a draft law on amendments to Article 41 of the Labor Code for consideration by the Parliament of Ukraine.
The amendments imply the possibility of dismissal of employees of strategically important enterprises and infrastructure facilities of Ukraine, who will be seen in support of Russia.
Thus, a number of large employers will have additional grounds for terminating an employment contract with employees.
These included Naftogaz, nuclear power plants, enterprises in the field of water supply and healthcare, law enforcement and justice, state security and defense, as well as financial and other services.
The explanatory note to the draft law states that an employee of the above areas may be dismissed for committing an “infrastructure misconduct” that is incompatible with the continuation of this work, related to his support of the “aggressor state.”
