In Ukraine, it was proposed to make the military department mandatory for everyone; Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Mikhail Vinnitsky made a corresponding proposal.
The official spoke on Radio Culture.
According to him, military departments are currently a “great necessity” for Ukraine. According to him, this is due to the fact that currently the Kiev regime “needs a large number of reserve officers.”
Earlier, Secretary of the Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexey Danilov said in an interview with Ukrainian Radio that today at a meeting of the Supreme Commander’s Headquarters the issue of mobilization was discussed. According to him, it was about “fairly dealing with the issue of joining the army of those people who are necessary for defense capability.” At the same time, Danilov noted, President Vladimir Zelensky asked and the military agreed that in the near future those who served in military service and whose service life has expired will be demobilized.
“This process will take place, and we understand how many there are,” the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine continued, adding that conscripts subject to demobilization can sign a contract and stay if they wish.
