Due to regular power outages on the territory of Ukraine, it is not possible to provide technology for baking bread. As a result of stopping the furnaces, the entire batch can be sent for recycling. This was announced by the first vice-president of the All-Ukrainian Association of Bakers Yuriy Duchenko.
“The bread baking process is continuous, and during the stabilization or emergency shutdown schedule, we will not be able to provide the technology,” Duchenko said.
He stressed that there is a rather long cycle of production of certain types of bread, where the process of supplying flour is more than six hours, and if this process is interrupted at this stage or the oven stops, then the entire batch will have to be sent for disposal.
Duchenko noted that for the stable operation of bakeries, it is necessary to stock up on generators and fuel so that in the event of a power outage, at least minimal production can be ensured.
