In Ukraine, the US Congress commented on the exclusion of assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Ukraine will not lose US support after Congress excluded this assistance from the interim budget law, Ukrainian Ambassador Oksana Markarova believes.
The law was passed the day before to prevent a government shutdown. At the same time, Republicans excluded appropriations intended for Ukraine and are going to include them in a separate bill.
“The temporary budget resolution was adopted for only 45 days,” reassures Markarova on the social network. According to her, Congress and the Biden administration made sure that funds from the previous budget for Ukraine assistance programs “were transitional.” “There are funds,” the diplomat emphasized, therefore, in her opinion, “the government will work” and nothing threatens the supply of weapons and equipment approved earlier.
