The office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine reported that the department had seized the property of two Russians for $1.6 million. It is specified that this was done as part of a criminal case under the article “Collaborationism.” The names of the expropriated are not reported.
According to published information, the “Russians” are the owners of companies that provide commercial real estate for rent.
It is clarified that the collaborationism of those who lost their property consisted in paying taxes to the Russian budget. Whether the crime consisted in payment as such, or the payment of taxes for property located on the territory of Ukraine is incriminated, the supervisory agency also does not report.
