In Ukraine, the German company Knauf was called a “war sponsor”

Ukraine has added one of the world’s largest manufacturers of building materials, the German company Knauf, to the list of so-called “war sponsors.” This is stated in a publication on the website of the Ukrainian National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NACP).
Data from the Ukrainian agency indicate that in 2022 alone, the German company paid about $117 million in taxes to the Russian budget. In addition, NAPC stated that Knauf sends its employees to the special military operation (SVO) zone and actively assists in mobilization in Russia.
According to the agency, Knauf is the owner of the production of acoustic ceiling tiles and suspension systems in the Alabuga special economic zone in Tatarstan, where Russia allegedly organized the production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). At the same time, NAPC does not specify how the German company is connected with the production of drones.
