Deputy of the Supreme Council of Khakassia from the Communist Party Dmitry Ivanov died in the war zone in Ukraine. He took part in the hostilities as part of the Wagner PMC. This was announced by the Governor of Khakassia Valentin Konovalov.
As Mr. Konovalov said, Dmitry Ivanov went to the zone of military operation in February 2023 voluntarily, joining the Wagner PMC. “He died heroically in the line of duty. He left a widow and five children,” he wrote on his page in “In contact with”.
Dmitry Ivanov was born in 1976. In 2011 he graduated from the Siberian Federal University. He was the director of the UK “Zarya” in Chernogorsk. In 2018, he was elected to the Supreme Council of Khakassia from the Communist Party.
