Speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ignat announced a possible check against the Reuters agency, which published photographs of a drone attack on Kyiv, which also captured the work of air defense, writes Strana.ua
“I didn’t have the opportunity to look at (the pictures), but in the end, I think the people who should be doing this will figure it out,” he said.
Reuters in one of the frames captured a rocket that “takes off at a drone from a multi-storey building area.” Another photo shows a massive explosion caused by the drone’s fall. According to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, all the drones were shot down at night, and debris fell on the city, the publication writes. The Russian Ministry of Defense did not report any attacks on Kyiv.
Publishing footage of air defense operations or troop movements entails criminal liability in Ukraine. According to the publication, authorities are “actively detaining” those who film videos of air defense operations.
