The current head of the region Oleg Kozhemyako, nominated for a second term by United Russia, after processing 28.78% of the protocols of precinct election commissions dials 77.08% of the votes. In 2nd place is the candidate from the LDPR, deputy of the Vladivostok Duma Inna Kosheleva – 8.42%.
Next are the head of the regional cell of the “Communists of Russia” Alexander Andoni – 5.18%, the director of the Vladivostok waste removal company Kirill Rudyuk, nominated by “A Just Russia – For Truth” – 3.79% and the leader of the Primorye organization of the Cossack Party Denis Kovalev – 3 .40%.
Voter turnout in the elections for governor of the Primorsky Territory as of 18:00 Vladivostok time (two hours before the closing of polling stations) was 43.17%.
In the repeat elections for governor of the Primorsky Territory in December 2018, Mr. Kozhemyako received 61.88% of the votes.
