SARS and influenza are sweeping the country, and children in schools are getting sick en masse. Local authorities are reacting in different ways: introducing a mask regime, sending children on early vacations, or reviving distance learning in schools. All this, but especially remote learning, is so disliked by parents that they decide to openly protest. So, at school 65 in Tyumen, a spontaneous popular gathering of parents with children took place. The director was “thrown to present”: the parents argued that the decision on distance learning was illegal.

To be honest, for a long period of covid remote control got everyone. And there is no normal study, and there is no one to look after the child. All day long my head hurts, how he is alone there, what is done at home …

At 7.30 in the morning, on the eve of the opening of the school, the administration of secondary school No. 65 on Shirotnaya Street was besieged by a deputation of mothers, fathers and grandmothers of students. Many came with children. And they demanded that they be presented with a legal basis for the introduction of remote work at the school. Or they immediately started a face-to-face lesson with children, as required by the federal law “On Education”.

“Just the day before, we were thrown off in the messenger in school chats that everyone, they say, is remote,” says Irina, one of the parents and spokesmen for the protest. – What is this? I have to show this chat to my boss at work, right? I have two, a son in elementary school, a daughter in middle school. I work, my husband works, hiring a nanny is unrealistic for us … I remember the lockdown like a nightmare, but then at least my husband worked from home.

The parents recorded their communication with the school administration on video – “video recording for contacting the prosecutor’s office”. The Tyumen residents insist on the recording that by their behavior, that is, by transferring students to distance learning without the notification required by law, “the director violates the federal law (FZ)” On Education “. References to the decision of the regional operational headquarters for SARS, they say, bullshit: “Citizens do not obey the operational headquarters.” The Federal Law and the Constitution are higher than any orders and letters of recommendation from local education departments, the parents insist.

At the entrance, parents were greeted with a chest by two deputy directors of school 65: Svetlana Pavlova and Maxim Yermolin. To the demand of angry visitors to present an order according to which classes were transferred to a remote format, the administrators advised to look for the order on the school website … To be honest, the MK correspondent climbed the school website for a long time, but did not find an order or news about the introduction of urgent distance learning at school .

As a result, school director Oksana Fokina ordered … to call the police. The outfit that arrived at the place immediately received a counter-application from the parents “for non-compliance with federal law and slander.” Also, the initiative group is preparing an “act of non-admission to school” for the prosecutor’s office.

The other day, similar events could have played out in Yekaterinburg. But there, at their own peril and risk, the administration of several schools nevertheless decided to conduct face-to-face classes, with a reduction in the volume of hours and time of lessons. And on the principle of one office. From December 19 to December 23, distance was also introduced in the region, and after that holidays were announced. But, given the mood of parents who are indignant: “The quality of education is zero, generations of morons are growing” and vigorously discussing in public “fights at home for a computer that will begin soon,” schools decided to continue classes.

– I can understand the indignation of adults, but to appeal here to the Federal Law and, moreover, the Constitution, is a bit naive, – says lawyer Stanislav Popov. – All operational headquarters and governors in their decisions are based on the recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor and on the Federal Law. In this case, the school is not right, of course, that it did not carry out a normal notification and informing of parents. From the point of view of the law in general, our schools are supervised by one body, and something is recommended and controlled by another. There is no direct subordination, practically only a breakdown on a territorial basis. The founders, the board of trustees – these are the directors who report to them. I can only humanly advise parents to look at the experience of others, everything is on the Web. During the lockdown, people pooled a nanny or a neighbor grandmother, gathered several children in one apartment. Or at least leave under the supervision of high school students – who has them. Now many people are in a difficult situation, because the children are at a distance, and no one lets their parents leave their offices.

Meanwhile, due to the rise in the incidence of SARS, influenza and other viruses, a mask regime has again been introduced in a number of regions of the country: Amur, Vladimir, and others, including in schools. Schoolchildren went on early vacations to the Leningrad region, St. Petersburg (junior school), Pskov region (secondary and high school). In the Tambov, Sverdlovsk and Tyumen regions, all schools have been transferred to distance learning. At the same time, infectious disease doctors remind that isolation is the only effective way to protect yourself from the virus. Only the lack of contact for 2 weeks can stop the chain of spread of the disease and protect against the virus.
