Tula residents will be able to take part in an unusual sporting event. On Thursday, an orienteering quest called “Running into History” will be organized in the arms capital of Russia.
The venue for the race for participants aged fourteen to thirty-five will be the Kosogorsk roller ski center named after the legendary Tula skier, two-time Olympic champion Vyacheslav Vedenin.
“The distance will run through the Raspberry Zaseka. At control points, participants will have to answer questions about the historical heritage of the Tula region,” the regional sports department told the editors.
The “historic” orienteering race promises to start at noon.
