In Tula, the championship of the Tula region in the sport of the deaf – beach volleyball – has ended. 5 men’s and 3 women’s teams from different cities fought for the victory.
According to the regional Ministry of Sports, the first place among men was taken by Alexei Chudaev and Maxim Chudaev from Tula, the second – by Denis Kostin and Nikita Makarov from Shchekino, the third – by Roman Krygin and Viktor Makarov.
Among women, the first place went to Larisa Manuylova and Olga Evdokimova from Novomoskovsk, the second – to Elizaveta Dydykina and Elizaveta Pavlova from Tula, the third – to Ekaterina Zubkova and Lyubov Pavlova.
The winners and prize-winners will go to the Russian beach volleyball championship for deaf athletes, which will be held in Anapa from 2 to 7 July.
The competition was organized by the regional Federation of Deaf Sports, which promotes the development of this sport among people with hearing disabilities.
