In the Volzhsky City Court of the Volgograd Region, a decision was made against a local resident in an administrative case under Part 1 of Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (display of prohibited symbols). About it reported in the joint press service of the regional courts.
At the court hearing, it was established that 18-year-old Artem P. posted an image of the flag of the extremist movement “International LGBT Social Movement” on his social network page. During the meeting, the young man admitted guilt and explained that he committed the violation out of stupidity. He has already deleted the image.
The court imposed an administrative fine on the young man in the amount of 1 thousand rubles. The resolution has not entered into legal force and can be appealed to a higher authority. The joint press service of the courts of the Volgograd region reported that the decision was made on January 25. This is the first such case in the region.
