The Russian military in the special military operation (SVO) zone is using a new modification of drones called “Joker”, reported “RIA News” General Director of the developer company “Center for Integrated Unmanned Solutions” (CDBR) Dmitry Kuzyakin. The improved model explodes when it falls into the hands of an enemy and is equipped with a protection system against operator detection.

“In connection with the growing needs of the front, they began to make UAVs themselves (of the Joker family.”— “Ъ”). The latest Joker model to date is Joker-10. Our drone is equipped with two vital devices. The first is a hibernator that allows you to physically turn the drone on and off from a distance. That is, not just turn the motors on and off, but turn off the power to the device completely. Essentially, remotely pull out the battery from the drone,” said Mr. Kuzyakin.

Dmitry Kuzyakin explained that this decision was dictated by the need to ensure the safety of the drone operator. Using this technology, the crew will be able to install “turned off” drones into position and leave without fear of being detected by electronic reconnaissance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. “Jokers” can wait up to a week for the start in winter and up to two weeks in summer. In addition, the devices are resistant to water and other external influences. “It is passive, there is practically no radio emission from it, and therefore during hibernation it is extremely difficult to detect,” noted Mr. Kuzyakin.

The second unique device that the new drone is equipped with is an electric detonator driver, which made it possible to “set all unimaginable degrees of protection and set extraction algorithms.” “To date, the enemy has not yet taken possession of a single one of our drones, because the driver is guaranteed to be triggered either by a timer, or by an impact, or by the pilot’s command. It will also work if you try to destroy it or cut the wires,” said the head of the company. “Joker-10” is capable of carrying up to 5 kg and reaching speeds of up to 100 km/h when loaded and up to 200 km/h without load.
