Pavel Antov traveled to India with three entrepreneurial friends to celebrate his 65th birthday there. Pavel Genrikhovich’s acquaintances are now wondering why they decided to stay in the city of Rayagad. Experienced travelers say that this place is rarely chosen by foreigners with money. The hotels there are mediocre, shabby inside. The service is pretty clueless. Hot water in the rooms is rare. It is worth leaving the territory – there is rubbish all around, cows and stray dogs roam. Many restaurants are not licensed to sell liquor. The same rum visitors pour themselves under the table.

On December 22, after celebrating Antov’s birthday, Vladimir Bydanov, a 61-year-old businessman from Yoshkar-Ola, who had come with him, was found unconscious in his room (they studied together at the Kirov Military Medical Academy in Leningrad). It was not possible to save Bydanov: he died in the district hospital. According to police, the cause of death was a heart attack.

And on December 24, Pavel Antov was found dead near the walls of the hotel. According to police, he fell out of a window on the third floor.

Indian law enforcement agencies, together with forensic experts, did not see a criminal component in the death of Russian businessmen. The bodies of entrepreneurs, in agreement with their relatives, were cremated.

We talked with a friend of Pavel Antov, Elena, who saw some kind of metaphysics in this case.

“Pavel and I met when he was still engaged in antiques in Vladimir,” says Elena. – Then he founded a company for the production of sausage products, began to develop rapidly in this direction. By basic education he is a psychiatrist, he headed the clinic before he became interested in antiques.

The last time we saw him was in St. Petersburg, when he brought his products to the food fair. I took him to the Hermitage. I want to note that he was more than modest: after the Hermitage, he went to the hotel by public transport.

Before the pandemic, I helped him get on a delegation to North Korea. And I had problems with the fact that he did not feel the measure in the use of alcohol. I think this is what caused his death. Although there is also metaphysics. India is a vegetarian country where no cows are eaten, where cows are sacred animals, and the owner of a sausage factory is energetically incompatible.

One of the numerologists, who turned to the editors, expressed confidence that the death of Pavel Antov “cannot be an accident,” and presented his own, however, very strange version.

He urged to remember his namesake, Emperor Paul the First. As well as the poet of the Silver Age, playwright and memoirist Rurik Ivnev, whose name is associated with prophetic signs and visions. In his diaries, the poet described his dream: “On the night of December 23-24, the quiet, bright and sad Emperor Paul appeared to me in a dream.” It was believed that he warned of imminent danger.

A numerologist pays attention to dates. It was at this time that Pavel Antov died.
