An outbreak of an acute intestinal infection was registered in the Teya sports school, which operates in the Askizsky district of Khakassia. About it reported Republican Department of Rospotrebnadzor. The department has launched an investigation into the cause of the incident.
A total of seven cases were recorded. Among the sick are both pupils and coaches. “A complex of necessary anti-epidemic measures has been organized, including the final disinfection of the catering facilities and common areas,” the Rospotrebnadzor department said about the measures taken.
Sports school “Teya” operates in the status of an autonomous institution of the Republic of Khakassia. They train athletes for the regional teams in several sports, from biathlon to athletics.
