In Moscow, traffic was blocked along Udaltsova Street from Leninsky Prospekt to Mikhail Pevtsov Street, the Department of Transport reports. The reason for the restrictions is not specified. Earlier today, on May 30, Telegram channels and the media reported that a drone hit a residential building on Leninsky Prospekt.
“Traffic blocked on the street. Udaltsov from Leninsky Prospekt to the street. Mikhail Pevtsov. Please take a detour,” reads the message.
Telegram channels Base And Mash wrote that on Leninsky Prospekt, a drone flew into an apartment on the 14th floor, but did not detonate. The drone is said to have carried three explosive devices. Emergency services are on the scene, RIA Novosti reported.
This morning Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin informed about a drone attack on several buildings in the capital. According to him, as a result of the attack, “minor damage occurred.” Mr. Sobyanin did not name the exact number of affected houses. Governor of the Moscow Region Andrey Vorobyov toldthat in some areas of the region the work of air defense systems was heard. He clarified that several drones were shot down on approach to Moscow.
