In the Smolensk region, new attempts to attack drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were reported

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) tried to strike targets in the Smolensk region with two drones; a total of five UAVs were suppressed on the morning of October 1, reported Governor Vasily Anokhin in his Telegram channel.
Previously Anokhin toldthat air defense and electronic warfare forces suppressed three Ukrainian aircraft-type drones in the Zadneprovsky district of Smolensk. An hour later, according to the Ministry of Defense, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted to carry out two more attacks. The first attack attempt occurred at about 9:00 Moscow time, the second at about 10:00, clarified press service of the defense department.
“In total, the air defense and electronic warfare forces of the Ministry of Defense suppressed 5 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles over Smolensk and its suburbs,” Anokhin wrote.
He clarified that there were no casualties or damage as a result of the incidents, and emergency services were working on the spot.
Earlier today, the Ministry of Defense announced destruction drone over the Krasnodar Territory, which is why Sochi Airport temporarily did not accept flights.
