The hall at the Sevastopol Aquarium Museum was flooded due to bad weather. As a result, 500 marine animals died, said the city’s governor, Mikhail Razvozhaev.
According to him, 189 trees and three billboards fell, the roofs of 42 houses were damaged, and three people were injured. In addition, 42 cars were damaged due to falling trees and structural elements of buildings. There was also a break in 74 power lines, leaving 354 houses without electricity.
“At the Federal Research Center InBYUM, 4 scientific laboratories were damaged, serious damage was caused… In the Radiobiological building, the quay wall collapsed,” Mr. Razvozhaev wrote in Telegram.
A storm warning is in effect in Sevastopol. Today, November 27, sleet with rain and winds of up to 25–30 m/s are expected.
Almost 500 thousand people died in Crimea as a result of the storm remained without power, one person died. Peninsula authorities called residents should not use personal transport for transportation.
