Prior to this, on August 12, a dam broke through in the city, as a result of which 5 houses were flooded.
From 9 to 10 August, a significant amount of precipitation fell in the south of Primorsky Krai, caused by the cyclone “Khanun”. The rains hit Ussuriysk to a greater extent: many roads were washed away, and houses were flooded. The flood was the worst in a decade.
