Due to ice and gusty winds, massive power outages were recorded in the Rostov region. 150 thousand people remain without electricity, regional governor Vasily Golubev said in his Telegram channel.
Outages were recorded in Rostov-on-Don, Taganrog, Neklinovsky, Azov, and Kamensky districts. “The most difficult situation has developed in Aksai and the Aksai region, a state of emergency has been introduced there,” said Mr. Golubev.
The consequences of accidents are eliminated by 160 teams of 497 people and 202 pieces of equipment. PJSC Rosseti additionally sent more than 20 teams from the Krasnodar Territory, Volgograd and Voronezh regions to the Rostov region. Temporary power supplies are being established in the region using backup sources.
